Our support staff play an increasingly important role in making children’s experience of school more enriching. The implementation of reforms arising from Every Child Matters has led to a rapid growth in support staff, of whom there are now over 4,000 in Enfield alone.

Information for teaching assistants and other support staff can be found in our Guide to Enfield School Support Staff Training & Development. As well, every school has two hard copies of the Guide.

Please remember the Guide refers only to accredited courses. If you require information on shorter half/whole-day courses, you can find this in the Enfield Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, a copy of which should be available in all Enfield schools.
