Primary school opportunities
Although the pool system operates throughout the school year, you are advised to
send your application to us at the earliest opportunity so we can provide headteachers
with your details as soon as possible.
Once we have your application, your details will be available to headteachers, who
may invite you to interview. By submitting a pool application, you are not committing
yourself to working in Enfield. You will remain in the pool until you inform us
that you have gained employment or no longer wish to be considered.

Please ensure that you read the job
description (pdf, 40kb) and person
specification (pdf, 32kb) before completing your form. You will also need to complete
the reference request forms (Headteacher (doc, 27kb) and Initial
Teacher Training Provider) (doc, 27kb).

Days.
Open Days
We offer two Open Days which will give you the opportunity to visit an Enfield school and
- Question headteachers about what they are looking for in an applicant
- Talk to serving NQTs about their job-hunting and first-year teaching experiences
- Get guidance on completing the application form and succeeding at interview
For the dates of our Open Days, please see the Events page. They are for primary
teacher trainees who will be looking for NQT positions in the coming year. To attend,
