Here in Enfield we operate a successful and popular Primary NQT pool system. Here’s how it works.
The Primary NQT pool operates throughout the school year, but it’s best to apply to the Talent Pool as early as possible – preferably by the end of February.
This enables us to provide Headteachers details as soon as they start to recruit to vacancies in the coming year.
By submitting a talent pool application, you are not committing yourself to working in Enfield. We’ll keep your application in the pool until you let us know that you have gained employment or no longer wish to be considered.
Please ensure that you read the job description and person specification before completing your NQT application form.
Completed applications should be returned to firstname.lastname@example.org
We also require reference request forms to be provided to your referee’s for completion and returned to us, therefore please click here to download the Tutor Reference Request and here to download the Headteacher Reference Request.
We would be happy to liaise with local schools to arrange a taster day to give you an opportunity to visit an Enfield school and question the Leadership team about what they are looking for in new teachers.
You can also talk to Enfield NQTs about their job-hunting and first-year teaching experiences, as well as getting guidance on completing the application form and succeeding at interview. For more information, see us at your local careers fair, email email@example.com, or ring us on 020 8379 3269.
